SUMMARYResponsible for keeping the property properly maintained in a neat, clean, and safe manner.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Upkeep of the property - Raking of straw/manure, power washing, mowing/weeding, picking up trash/debris, and general maintenance activities

Operate company vehicles/equipment including skid steer, trucks, and various maintenance equipment

General Maintenance knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and powered equipment

Planting & maintaining flowers, plants, and trees

Snow and ice removal

Maintain property signs and fences

Maintain mowing and landscaping vehicles/equipment

Assist other Team Members with duties.

All other duties as assigned.

REPORTING LINEYou will report directly to the Facilities Manager then to the Director of Maintenance.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
• The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.

• Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment for the task.
• Ability to recognize/remedy safety concerns and utilize all personal protective equipment as required.
• Time management & priority setting and work independently.
• Troubleshooting & problem solving
• Knowledge of OSHA required standards.
• Life safety equipment and systems
• Knowledge on how to but not limited to the operation of scissor lifts, bucket truck, forklift, ladders, hand/power tools, etc.
• You must be at least 21 years old
• Obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to be covered under Mountaineer Casino Insurance for driving our vehicles.

• You must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.REASONING ABILITYThe ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• You will need to be able Sitting/Standing, Lifting, Kneeling, Bending, Walking/Stretching, Pushing/Pulling, Climbing/Reaching for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENTWill be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
