We are moving flexible packaging forward by redefining innovation through collaboration within our own company and with our customers and suppliers.\n Benefits : 401(k) Matching, Dental Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Account, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, 11 Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, Vision Insurance.\n Hours: Monday - Friday 5am - 5pm\n \n Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nSelect proper plate cylinders for job clean and prep the cylinders\nPrepping plates for mounting\nselect proper mounting materials required for specific print jobs\nSet up print cylinders in mounting machine and set up plate layout on mounting machine\nMount polymer plates on printing cylinders in correct registration and alignment to bag size\nDemounting and cleaning printing cylinders\nMaintain plate inventory for repeat jobs\nSafely work with cleaning chemicals\nKeep work area and aisles clean\nWork with the press operator to correct plate issues on press\n\n Skills/Qualities Required:\n\nLift heavy objects utilizing hoist safely\nLift heavy objects 50 lbs.\nMust be very attentive to detail and exacting to specifications\nMust be able to read and understand written directions\nMust be able to write legibly and fill out production related materials\nMust be able to see colors and have good vision\nWorking knowledge of basic hand tools and have mechanical aptitude\nMust be able to draw plate layouts\nMust be able to read measuring tools\nMust be able to adhere to company policy, safety rules and regulations, and wear PPE\n Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
