Position Summary Employees will personally confirm that each order has been manufactured, tested and packaged to meet customer specifications and SRE quality standards, and also that they conform to the current revision of engineering drawings and bill of materials. Employees will be responsible for the timely inspection of products in various stages of production in at least two plant locations. Employee will work with plant management and supervisors to correct non-conforming material in an efficient manner. Employees will also perform a variety of other tasks, as required by the company, in addition to working to accomplish both company and departmental goals. Most be able to support Tech Services Corrective Action requests while reporting to Director of Manufacturing. Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities: - Inspect graphics for conformance to prints. - Confirm all customer specifications are adhered to. -Check that only materials on the product BOM have been used. -Assure safe and adequate packaging is provided for all products. -Test electrical signage for functionality as needed. -View illuminated signage in dark room conditions. -Other duties as required by the company. Minimum Qualifications -High school or equivalent degree required. Experience - Minimum 3 years experience in the sign industry or in a similar manufacturing environment, on the manufacturing floor or in engineering. - Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including well developed speaking and writing skills. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical and mechanical. prints and schematics. Ability and willingness to travel on short notice and a valid Drivers License. - A positive attitude with the ability to work as a team player. -Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities. Requirements - Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed - Extended time standing required - Ability to sit still for a long period of time required to be truly productive. - 20/20 vision or have corrective lenses. -Must be able to distinguish color variation.
