SUMMARYResponsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of surveillance equipment; alarm installation and repair. Will also assist in the maintenance and repair of the digital surveillance system.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will review the camera repair list located in the main Video Operators Room.Repair any reported video loss or equipment malfunction. Keep a complete inventory of all used and new Surveillance install equipment in stock. Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of existing video cameras. Keep up to date on all State Lottery machine moves and Mountaineer remodeling projects that involve cash areas both Lodge and Track side. Job duties include running wire, installing strut, camera installation and proper camera focus and alignment. Responsible for the return of all defective video equipment for repair. All other duties as assigned. REPORTING LINEYou will report directly to the Director of Surveillance then to VP/GMQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- Working knowledge of Computers and MS Office.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- You will need to be available to work all shifts and available for emergencies.
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- Any applicant who has a family member employed by Mountaineer in a money handling assignment will not be considered for this position
- You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Level 2 Table Game License through the WV Lottery.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent. Electrical background is helpful.PHYSICAL DEMANDSYou will need to be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in close proximity to fellow employees and be multi-tasked oriented. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 50 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENTWill be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
