Job Description: The Technology Analyst will be the first point of contact for all new users as well as users experiencing technical issues. This person is responsible for providing prompt and effective solutions to ensure smooth and efficient operation of IT services. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to effectively supporting our team, strong background in IT systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. A typical day might include the resolution of individual computer issues, onboarding a new team member, debugging software application problems, researching emerging technologies or attending training sessions for new/existing technologies. This position is multi-faceted and different challenges may arise each day. Over time this position may become the local expert on several technologies in use at the organization. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service by understanding and addressing user needs effectively and timely. Document and track all user interactions, issues, and resolutions in the helpdesk system. Follow up with users to ensure their issues are resolved satisfactorily. Technical Support and Maintenance: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. Maintain and update IT systems and applications. Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues. Escalate complex problems to higher-level support as needed. Ensure system security and data integrity. System Administration: Assist in setting up and configuring new hardware and software for end-users. Perform routine maintenance and updates on user devices and systems. Support user account management, including password resets and access permissions. Knowledge Management: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of helpdesk documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides. Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to provide effective support. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to share knowledge and resolve issues. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes. Training and Development: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and technologies. Develop training materials and documentation. Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements. Minimum Qualifications & Training: High school degree or equivalent training and work experience required. Associate or bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of work and experience preferred. Proven experience as a Technology Analyst, IT Analyst, or similar role. Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and applications. Working knowledge of company network architecture and components Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra Identity Management and Microsoft 365 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, PMP) are a plus. Preferred Skills: Excellent customer service skills. Ability to understand and navigate complex policies within Intune and Active Directory. Engineering experience with Windows 10 and 11. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices. Experience in a hybrid IT environment.
