The Job: As a Procurement Technology Analyst, you'll be part of our Global Supply Chain group working as a hybrid employee based in either Valley City, New Britain or Towson. You'll get to: Implement, support, and coordinate various projects related to third party software vendors that directly support procurement and supply chain processes Applications include but not limited to: eSourcing Event Mgmt, Contract Lifecycle Mgmt, Market Intelligence Subscriptions Supplier Portal Coordinate stakeholder engagement across all of GSM and other corporate functions as required and w ork closely with Internal SBD IT Applications Management Team and SBD Global Shared Service Team Primary Project Support Examples include SBD Internal Tech Pass, SBD Case Management Tickets (NDAs, Order Forms, Contracts/Amendments) Support new vendor Pilots and/or Proof of Concepts as needed Support Management of existing applications Licensed user management, Incident tickets, Enhancement Requirements, OMR Ideally, this position would keep a pulse on various applications and generate/maintain status update presentations that can be shared on demand or presented during GSM townhalls (Commercial Summary, User Landscape, Usage Trends, Active/planned projects, Application Roadmap, Next Steps, etc) Support new vendor implementation project as necessary. Develop documentation and user procedures and a ssist in providing inputs for project review meetings and management presentations including design review, project scheduling, test planning, system controls, procedures, documentation, and system implementation planning. Provide technical knowledge throughout the planning and implementation cycles of systems projects. Assist and coordinate with IT associates, business users, and vendor personnel assigned to projects. Assist in system and program implementation and enhancement activities, prepare test data, perform system and program testing. Research systems and programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test and implement detailed solutions to improve or correct.
