OverviewThis is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.This role is responsible for supporting the governance framework that ensures effective oversight of the organization's technology practices. Key duties include monitoring compliance with internal policies, assessing risks, providing insights into technology governance practices, and implementing controls to safeguard the organization's data, systems, and processes. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of IT policies, regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance. Responsibilities
- Mentor junior team members and lead large-scale initiatives across the organization.
- Engage and collaborate with senior leadership on critical decision-making.
- Prioritize and delegate high-priority tasks within the technology governance team.
- Assist in maintaining the organization's technology governance framework.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and standards, aligning them with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Aid in the creation and enhancement of governance documentation, including policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and reports.
- Participate in audits and regulatory reviews related to technology governance and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Work with stakeholders, including technology, legal, risk, and compliance teams to strengthen governance practices.
- Communicate updates and changes to governance documentation across the organization.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various datasets to produce metrics and support reporting efforts for the combined bank.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational SupportStrong understanding of technology risk management, IT controls, and governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, etc.). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to deliver engaging and persuasive presentations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, word, PowerPoint) and risk management tools.Professional certifications such as CISA or CGEIT a plusThis job posting is expected to remain active for 30 days from the initial posting date listed above.
