Comprehensive Youth Development is a nonprofit that provides a range of services to youth ages 14-24 to help them complete high school and succeed in college, advanced training and the workplace. We are seeking a Technology Instructor/ Support Specialist to work across our program sites. Duties & Responsibilities: Digital literacy Instruction Identify students' digital literacy strengths and weaknesses through comprehensive evaluations, providing targeted support to enhance their skills. Create and adapt engaging curricula that align with students goals and industry standards, ensuring relevance and applicability. Collaborate with site staff to design dynamic lesson plans and instructional material that supports students success in college, skills-based training programs or entry level employment Develop partnerships for career pathways for students to achieve relevant certifications in the field. Work closely with the Director of Workforce to define clear outcomes and actionable steps for students' post-secondary success Data Base Support Develop a comprehensive understanding of CYDs data needs to support program evaluation and improvement. Assist in the maintenance of data across CYDs various platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Train new staff on CYDs various data platforms Attend data training sessions and provide ongoing support to staff, fostering a data-informed culture to enhance student outcomes. Technology Support Work with our third-party vendor to ensure quality services of our hardware, software and cyber security. Connect with program sites to assist with troubleshooting systems issues Requirements and Skills: Bachelors degree in a computer-related field Proven experience in curriculum development and educational instruction. Understanding of data systems and usage 2 years of experience as an instructor Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills Drive to succeed Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments Adhere to all personnel policies and procedures, including attendance requirements, maintaining a reliable presence during work hours
