Overview:
The Technology, Project Manager oversees technology projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, applying data driven decision making and defining success metrics to ensure project excellence. Responsible for leading initiatives that enable ACOG personnel to carry out internal operations and mission-focused work, as well as major end-user facing technology solutions for members. Participate in project activities including identifying and documenting user stories, producing documentation, testing and end-user training.

This position is considered hybrid and will be expected to be in the DC office a minimum of 2x a week.
Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Manage multiple, complex, and multifaceted internal and external-facing technology projects simultaneously. Employ agile project management frameworks to ensure flexibility, timely delivery, and quality results. Perform business analysis activities including gathering requirements, documenting user stories, creating wireframes, writing test cases, and conducting testing/QA activities. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Define project management process and methodologies in collaboration with leadership. Implement and adhere to established processes across projects to ensure efficient and quality delivery. Identify innovative solutions by conducting analysis of problems and challenges. Contribute ideas related to buy vs. build decisions. Develop and maintain a solid understanding of core technologies in use at ACOG and research new technologies that could be leveraged to address organizational needs. Utilize data analysis and metrics to inform project decisions, track progress to goals, and optimize project outcomes.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors. Gather and document project requirements from stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, issues, progress, and change requests to stakeholders regularly. Escalate to leadership when needed. Facilitate project meetings and workshops to gather requirements and feedback.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project risks and implement necessary actions to mitigate them.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Conduct testing to ensure project deliverables meet functional and usability expectations.
Team Orientation and Leadership: Promote a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing. Motivate and manage the project team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Vendor Management: Ensure successful delivery of outsourced projects and services in collaboration with external vendors. Evaluate vendor performance and manage relationships to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation. Prepare and present project reports to senior management.

Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a technical field, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of proven experience managing technology projects. Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills for conveying complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Skilled in data analysis to drive decisions and optimize project outcomes. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Collaborative approach to work, able to achieve results cross-functionally. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with keen attention to detail. Solution-focused mindset with an analytical approach to proactively solving problems. Ability to produce clear documentation such as project plans, test plans, status reports, and requirements. Excellent meeting facilitation skills, including creating agendas and taking meeting notes. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet, and similar. Experience managing external vendors, ensuring successful delivery of outsourced projects, and evaluating vendor performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.
Preferred Qualifications: PMP, CSM, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications preferred or progress towards certification.

Compensation
The base salary for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, ACOG offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes the perks outlined below.
