Job Summary
The Technology Services - Specialist is responsible for working with all Dallas College locations regarding the procurement to payment process for Technology Services, i.e., procuring materials, equipment, supplies and services and assuring compliance with state statutes and College procurement procedures. Reporting to the Technology Services - Lead, this role requires an individual with procurement experience to support the college's operations and strategic goals.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge of procure to pay principles, practices and regulations.
* Ability to accurately initiate procurement contracts and requisitions to facilitate procurement requests.
* Keep abreast of technology changes and best practices through professional development.
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Must be detailed oriented with the ability to discover potential risks to the college.
* Must have excellent organizational and communication skills and is able to function in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong knowledge and experience in providing effective customer service.
Physical Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
* Associate Degree plus 4+ years of similar work experience or High School Diploma with 7+ years of similar work experience.
* Official transcripts will be required.
* Must possess a current and valid Texas driver's license.
* Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check.*
Key Responsibilities
* Prepares contracts and requisitions for Technology related materials, equipment, supplies and services in a timely and accurate manner.
* Resolves problems and issues that may arise from procurement of technology products and services.
* Processes technology invoice payments by entering timely and accurate submissions and resolving discrepancies.
* Maintain Dallas College hotspot accounts for students and employees.
* Process ServiceNow requests assigned to Technology Services department.
* Office-based role with occasional travel to Dallas College sites.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
