Knowledge of 1:1 device deployment in an education setting Knowledge of G Suite for Education Ability to thoroughly analyze and identify recurring problems/trends to establish root causes of issues related to technology Supervised By: Technology Supervisor Terms of Employment: 12 Months Confidential Position Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting and repair procedures on inoperative and/or malfunctioning computers, peripheral devices, multimedia equipment and communication devices;
- Perform basic troubleshooting and analysis procedures to identify and correct network access and connectivity related problems
- Setup and configure computer-based technology resources using established industry/district protocols.
- Repair computers from appropriate parts and components and configure operating systems using appropriate domain requirements and network options.
- Perform operating system (OS) and application installations/updates
- Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair records and logs.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair/replace as necessary network cabling, voice/data jacks and other network-related equipment.
- Provide support for students, teachers, administrators and school buildings to both proactively and reactively address day-to-day technology concerns and issues.
- Provide training for staff on use of technology devices and applications
- Be able to perform physical duties associated with the delivery and relocation of technology equipment
- Maintaining appropriate inventory documentation.
- Be able to successfully fulfill work order requests in a timely and appropriate manner. ? Be able to multitask in time-sensitive situations while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency expectations.
- Develop job-related planning goals and project task lists, and prioritize job/work requirements.
- Provide appropriate technical advice and assistance to other district staff and students in support of curriculum, teaching and learning goals and objectives.
- Provide technical support to the Transportation Department.
- Perform other technology tasks and duties as assigned.
