Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will lead regional projects and innovation initiatives, ensuring consistent standards and practices across Network Implementation and Operations (NI&O) teams. Acting as a key liaison between NI&O, district teams, and cross-functional partners, this role facilitates the adoption of best practices and corporate objectives while proactively managing risks and driving results.
The ideal candidate will have significant project management experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have managed projects in the telecommunications industry. This role requires exceptional organizational and communication skills to oversee complex programs, deliver key milestones, and provide updates and presentations to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an entire program for the West region, driving results for key milestones tracked at a highly complex level.
- Plan, organize, and oversee processes, workflows, and training programs to ensure consistent adoption across district teams.
- Align regional efforts with national business priorities to ensure consistency in execution and reporting.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking progress, risks, and data management.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among teams in engineering, permitting, construction operations, finance, and supply chain.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and track progress through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Present actionable insights to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with measurable results in operational objectives.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, functions, and formulas.
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
- Prior telecommunications project management experience is a strong plus.
- Six Sigma, Lean Principles, or PMP certification is a plus.
