**Responsibilities:**
+ May train new operators to ensure proper handling of all protocols and procedures.
+ Perform system data entry tasks as requested to maintain accurate records and information.
+ Deliver service to multiple answering service clients by following individualized protocols tailored to each client's needs.
+ Process emergency codes and STAT pages promptly to ensure quick response in urgent situations.
+ Initiate voice pages as required to facilitate communication within the organization.
+ Provide on-call physician information to authorized individuals as requested, ensuring accurate details.
+ Use standardized phrasing consistently when answering telephone calls to maintain professionalism.
+ Offer dialing instructions to patients upon request, manage multiple lines effectively, and provide excellent customer service.
Required:
+ High school graduate or equivalent.
+ 1 year of experience answering and processing calls through automated phone system OR 1 year of customer service experience.
+ Must be able to work all shifts, 7 days a week.
+ Ability to interpret procedure manuals (i.e., fire, trouble, disaster, etc.).
Preferred:
+ Medical office experience
+ Call center experience
