MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: •Seek new business by presenting, selling, and cross-selling bank products•Open and have the ability to quickly learn all types of deposit accounts, ensuring that applicable regulations, disclosures, policies, and procedures are observed•Process customer transactions; verify and balance cash drawer•Meet or exceed established customer service standards to enhance the customer experience•Other duties as assignedABILITIES REQUIRED: •Dynamic, outgoing personality with a smile and greeting for every customer•Present a professional appearance•Ability to quickly learn the bank's products and services, policies and procedures, and bank regulations•Ability to match customer needs to our products and services and to complete all necessary steps in opening accounts•Ability to cross-sell the bank's products and services•Ability to handle cash competently and have a good balancing record•Excellent customer service skills; able to handle customers and difficult situations in a professional manner and to remain calm under stressful situations•A team player, willing to help wherever needed•Ability to earn repeat business•Requires high school diploma or GED plus additional bank-related training; 4 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceWORK SCHEDULE: This part-time position is scheduled for approximately 20-29 hours per week, depending on the staffing needs of the region. Hours will include every Saturday morning.The ideal candidate will have flexible availability, a vehicle in good condition, and be able to cover hours of operation at any regional branch.
