If you crave a work environment that has life-friendly hours, a community-centered vibe, and is a place where growing and broadening your skills will be nurtured, we should talk!As our Community First Teller, you will:Provide exceptional, WOW service to internal and external membersReceive cash and checks for deposit into members accountsCash checks for membersAccept loan and credit card paymentsMake transactions between accounts as instructed by membersPlace proper holds on deposited items for uncollected funds following CFCU policy and procedureHandle proper disbursement of cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cardsIdentify non-negotiable and fraudulent checks to avoid losses for the member and the credit unionAccurately balance and close cash drawer at the end of each business dayPromote, cross-sell, and refer credit union products and services to fulfill member financial needsAn ideal candidate will have a combination of:A high school diploma or equivalentAt least one year of cash handling experience; previous Teller experience is a plusExcellent listening ability and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packagesPassion for providing outstanding service to our membersThe ability to work hard, find solutions, and have fun
