The Teller is responsible for accurately and efficiently performing transactions and providing exceptional customer service each and every time. This position expands upon and deepens customer relationships through suggestion of services and products, refers customers across business lines and generates customer conversations to build and maintain long-lasting banking relationships. The Teller also adheres to compliance regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately and efficiently performs various transactions by:
- Welcoming and establishing relationships with customers to provide an extraordinary experience
- Exhibiting above and beyond service
- Operating in full compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Processing bank transactions accurately and efficiently
- Answering telephones, questions and directing callers to appropriate branch personnel
- Aiding bankers in servicing requests such as but not limited to printing statements, performing balance inquiries, etc.
- Scanning daily transactions in an accurate and timely manner
- Completing administrative tasks correctly and on time
- Consistently being on time and present for scheduled shifts
Provides customer referrals by:
- Educating customers on products/services
- Creating a referral when a potential opportunity is identified
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in Opening and Closing procedures
- Assists with the general office housekeeping including but not limited to stocking supplies and general office cleaning
- Seeks ways to streamline services / workflow to improve efficiencies
- Assists other branch locations when needed
- Other duties as assigned
