- Engage and connect with customers by providing the highest level of service to enhance guests experience.
- Provide rental guests with highest level of rental service
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a busy environment
- Must be available to work weekends
- Striving to exceed daily and seasonal sales targets, use upselling and add-ons to increase sales
- Maintain and stay up-to-date on product knowledge to provide exceptional guest service.
- Ability to answer customer questions; provide detailed information including features and benefits of products
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Know and enforce safety initiatives consistent with company guidelines.
- Supports Telluride Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
- Adheres to Telluride Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
- Promote, support and understand all activities and events occurring on or off mountain.
- Proficient in POS operations
- Provides a fun guest experience that exceeds members/guests' expectations.
- Receiving of goods, tagging, transferring.
- Stock product
- Clean shelves, counters, floors, glass and merchandise as needed.
- Refer customer problems and complains to manager or another senior staff member if appropriate.
- Perform related tasks or special projects as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months minimum of retail experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of or ability to learn point of sale systems, inventory systems, basic accounting, familiar with Microsoft Office, internet search engines.
