Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Research Technician sought to operate Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) in support of research. The ideal candidate will possess experience in organic and/or inorganic synthesis skills and a familiarity with characterization tools.

Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in chemistry or chemical engineering preferred
- Willingness to be involved in research that is highly exploratory in nature, and may support programs within division and affiliated organizations
- Trained and proficient in TEM – Transmission Electron Microscopy
- Organized, punctual, and takes full responsibility for laboratory procedural compliance and maintenance of a safe working environment
- Demonstrated ability of succinct technical writing, maintaining laboratory note books, electronic files, understanding complex unit P&IDs, and drawing unit flow diagrams
- Good communication skills for understanding and describing scientific observations, experimental plans and results, equipment and material design concepts
- Expert knowledge of scientific calculations for chemical preparations, mass balances, quantification of chemical components
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to use software for controlling laboratory hardware and scientific calculations
