Job SummaryReceive and direct radio/telephone calls providing information and/or referrals in support of campus parking services and enforcement. Provide guidance and training to other dispatchers in dispatch procedures as required. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: callers to include Parking staff, GT employees and visitors. This position will typically advise and counsel: dispatchers. This position will supervise: N/A. This position is overnights from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. Drive State owned vans has needed providing safe and efficient transportation for the GT community to various drop-off locations on and off campus.
ResponsibilitiesJob Duty 1 - Perform duties related to professional field assignment. Job Duty 2 - Participate in reviews for compliance with policy and governmental regulations in the field. Job Duty 3 - Provide input to department policies and procedures. Job Duty 4 - May provide input to and administer project timelines and budgets. Job Duty 5 - May interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues. Job Duty 6 - Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSKILLS This job requires application of professional principles, processes and practices; application of regulations; utilization of basic and advanced computer applications including those specific to areas of responsibility; communication skills. The position includes providing safe and efficient transportation for the GT community, Utilize transit GPS technology for ride request, perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, refuels vehicles, make timely accident and incident reports.
