LOCATION: Washington, DC- Hybrid model in office Tuesday & Wednesday. Working remote Monday, Thursday & Friday

JOB SUMMARY

The External Relations Project Manager (Temporary) will play a crucial role in supporting the External Relations Department at the national office of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. This position entails overseeing project management of department integration activities, daily operational tasks, and executing essential processes. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a demonstrated ability to plan and implement projects effectively in a collaborative environment. They should have experience managing projects and enhancing operational processes, coupled with a constructive and innovative approach to their work. Additionally, the candidate must be prepared to handle a range of tasks professionally and engage effectively with staff at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating project feasibility and overseeing modifications to project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Creating detailed project plans to track progress and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Facilitating communication with stakeholders at all levels, including leading initial meetings, conducting project reviews, and providing continuous updates.
