Location:Duluth, GA 30096Pay:$29/hr ($60,000/yr)We are currently representing a client in the medical supply industry seeking a Merchandising Assistant to join their team on contractual basis for a long-term contract (up to 8 months), with a possible extension based on business needs.Duties:Tracks receipt of product samples from vendors for all new products selected during vendor meetings.Coordinates lab quality assurance testing of sample products and maintains updated lab evaluation files.Sets up new SKUs in the merchandising systemGenerates initial purchase orders for all new productsManages store communications with retail operationsProcesses all cost and retail changes in merchandising systemProcess product recall for store distributionMonitor website validity to ensure proper frame assortment is up to dateProvides support through administrative tasks such as management of files, tracking product samples, ensuring product information is accurate across multiple systems.Runs standard reporting and formatting reports for distributionGenerates initial purchase orders for all new styles.Generate monthly product recalls for stores.Assists with price changes, markdowns, and product launches.The role is in office, Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM w/1 hour lunch.The selected candidate must have advanced Excel reporting skills (Vlookups and PivotTables) in addition to previous retail buying/purchasing experience preferred.#Admin123
