Exemption forms are available.- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.- Experience with computer operations, unit dose drug dispensing systems, IV admixture, and parenteral chemotherapy admixture preferred.- Ability to work independently without direct supervision within established policies.- Capable of supervising the work of support personnel.- Own transportation required.- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends. Job Description: - Responsible for timely and accurate verification of all medication orders.- Safely prepares medications and pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients and eligible employees.- Researches, educates, and communicates drug information to healthcare providers and patients/families.- Knowledgeable of automated medication dispensing processes/reports and adherence to departmental and hospital policies/procedures.- Willingness to work during holiday periods such as Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekends following.- Available every other weekend, with holidays required as needed.Please ensure COVID vaccination card or intention to fill out exemption form is included with profile submission.
