The SPD Technician is responsible for maintaining high standards for decontamination, assembly, inspection, and preparing the surgical instruments/equipment for sterilization. The SPD Technician maintains consistency and continuous workflow between the OR, Central Processing and the facility as a whole while practicing above average customer service. Performs duties as a SPD Technician independently, works proficiently without supervision and is qualified to train new employees. Works in conjunction with the Pharmacy to re-supply crash carts with IV fluids and medications. Serves as a resource to all CSSPD customers. Also responsible for cleaning, issuing patient care equipment and supplies. Nicotine-free & Alcohol-free facility.Requirement description : 2 years of experience - RequiredIAHCSMM - Required
