My client is an education nonprofit based in NYC. They are looking for an accounting manager to join on a temp to hire basis. This role is fully on-site.

Description

• Ensure completion of close process and compliance with GAAP standards
• Close and post deliverable, P&L reviews, commentary, analyses, schedules & reporting
• Review reconciliations for multiple accounts including investments, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, and payables/receivables
• Assist the CFO to ensure accuracy of income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
• Prepare budget reports and compile requests
• Prepare tax forms and financial data

Profile

• Completed Bachelors degree
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong communicate skills
• 4+ years previous experience working with advanced technologies and collaborative applications
• Strong MS Excel background
