Temp to Hire Paralegal

A D.C. Law Firm is seeking a Temp-to-Hire Paralegal to join their teama great opportunity for recent college graduates with interest and/or experience in the legal arena/law school. They are looking for sharp candidates with an intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn. This role is remote but candidates must be willing to occasionally come into the office as needed.

Status: Temp-to-Hire

Salary: Salary $64K upon conversion

What You'll Do:

• Put together administrative and court filings sometimes under tight timeframes.
• Provide legal support to multiple staff members in a high paced environment
• Provide administrative support as needed with flexibility and initiative

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively with lawyers verbally and in writing
• Comfortable handling filing deadlines.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
