San Francisco, CA / Temporary / On-site Established in 2006 by Wendy and Eric Schmidt, the Schmidt Family Foundation (TSFF) works to restore a balanced relationship between people and planet. Through our grant-making and investments, we partner with communities around the world in working for renewable energy, resilient food systems, healthy oceans and the protection of human rights. We pursue our mission through three, innovative and thoughtful strategies: 1) The 11th Hour Project 2) Impact Investing 3) Schmidt Marine Technology Partners (SMTP) The Schmidt Family Foundation is a private foundation with growing assets of over $2B and an impact investment portfolio of approximately $160M of AUM. For a duration of three-five months, the temporary assistant will assist the Program Director of the Indigenous Communities Program with day-to-day tasks, such as:
- Calendar scheduling
- Reading and responding to emails to facilitate smooth program work flow
- Processing expense reports
- Planning logistics, as needed, for travel, including flights arrangements, hotel booking, rental cars, etc.
- Data entry in Salesforce for grants processing, Excel for program budget tracking, and Adaptive for annual budget planning
- Reading grant proposals and completing Internal Assessments
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years administrative support experience
- Bachelor's degree
$35 - $37 an hour This is a non-exempt position.
