Compensation
$18.15 per hour
Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Assure effective and consistent supervision of Crisis Counseling Rooms and In-School Suspension areas.
+ Contribute to the effective team management of behavior of program students, and to the implementation of Individual Education Plans. Assure that methods of intervention with students are employed in a therapeutic manner, are responsive to individual student needs, and are consistent with agency policy and each student's Individual Education/Treatment Plan. Assure that necessary information regarding student progress is communicated to involved staff in a timely manner.
+ Support and enhance classroom functioning by providing individualized attention as needed, and by performing other duties (such as: organizing and supervising special activities, providing transportation of students as needed, assisting in outreach to parents) as assigned.
+ Maintain thorough and timely documentation of significant incidents. Maintain daily log of utilization of Crisis Counseling Rooms, In-School Suspension; compile monthly summaries of same.
+ Ensure that support staff function effectively individually and as a unit by actively contributing to the process of selection, training and development of Teacher Aide, Substitute Teacher Aides and Substitute Teacher.

Qualifications
+ High School Diploma and pertinent experience and/or training.
