Job Type : Temporary Duration : This position will start in 2025 and end of March 11, 2026 Work Hours : Monday Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm Salary Range : $21.67 to $22.16 per hour The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is hiring a Temporary Customer Success Assistant Were gearing up for our industrys largest tradeshow, CONEXPO CON/AGG, happening March 3-7, 2026. We need your help to ensure our customers, exhibitors, and members questions are answered and things run smoothly. Were looking for a service-oriented professional who enjoys variety and challenge to join our Membership and Sales Team. This position supports the Membership Engagement & Sales Team (MEST) in providing top-notch customer service to both internal and external customers. Youll handle daily administrative activities related to sales and customer service, support our toll-free telephone lines, and monitor and respond to customer service emails. Responsibilities: Answer customer service calls and emails, including responding to inbound emails from exhibitors and members. Make outbound calls to promote events, collect payments, and conduct general outreach. Proactive customer service: tradeshow exhibitor onboarding sessions, exhibitor webinars, outreach for deadlines, and member engagement. Handle complaints and provide appropriate alternatives within the limits of the process. Research prospective members, exhibitors, and sponsors. Data entry and generating reports using SMART. Collaborate with other departments. Assist sales reps with various tasks/outreach. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least an associates degree or 2-4 years of relevant experience. Additionally, you should demonstrate: Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent problem-solving skills. Experience working in a customer service environment. Self-motivation and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
