Job Description:

Bright Harbor Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Director of Children & Families Services to oversee and lead our comprehensive program. The Children & Families Services program provides a wide range of services including counseling, therapy, and support for children, adolescents, and families facing various challenges. As the Interim Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, including program development, staff supervision, budget management, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and community partners to enhance program effectiveness and meet the needs of our clients. Position Title: Interim Director of Children & Families Services Position Type: Full Time; Temporary; Weekends and On Call Coverage/Availability Required Location: Toms River, NJ Department: Children & Families Services Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to all 17+ Children & Families Services programs
  • Oversee program development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Supervise and support program staff, providing guidance and mentorship and clinical supervision
  • Manage program budget and resources effectively
  • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling)
  • LCSW/LPC Required
  • Current certification to provide supervision hours towards clinical licensure preferred OR eligible to take course
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a children and families services program
  • Strong knowledge of child and family development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
