Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis.Event Technician will assist Operations and Event Coordinator, Technical andAssistant Technical Directors in day to day operations of University Theatrevenues in support of campus events, rental clients and University Theatreperformances as required.Duties will include:* Backstage duties as assigned, including but not limited to lighting operation(lighting consoles, follow spotlights), sound reinforcement (FOH consoleoperation, audio system setup), load-in and load-out assistance, occasionalsystem and facilities maintenance.* Front of house technicians: position will serve as house manager,responsible for coordinating all Front-Of-House (FOH) operations in theTheatre spaces. Specific responsibilities include training and supervisingushers; communicating with stage managers and technical supervisorsduring and in advance of performances; and ensuring the safety of allpatrons using theatre spaces.
