Location: Syracuse,NY, USA
The Temporary Group Fitness Instructor will lead group fitness classes for the University community. Class formats include, but are not limited to: TRX, Barre, Pound, Boot Camp, Kickboxing, conditioning workouts, dance fusion classes, abdominal & lower back, strength training, HIIT training, Zumba, hip-hop, Spinning, TRX Pilates, and yoga. Assist with maintenance of equipment. Enforce facility and program policies.
Qualifications
* Previous group fitness teaching experience.
* Ability to conduct safe and effective classes.
* Knowledge of strength training and cardiovascular exercise.
* Good communication skills.
* National fitness certification (NSCA, ACSM, ACE, AFAA, NASM or equivalent), Adult CPR/AED or acquired w/in 30 days of hire.
