We are committed to honoring the unique needs of each family while leading the way in creating the funeral home of the future.Who You Are:As a Temporary HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our recruitment and onboarding processes over the next 90 days. You will collaborate with HR and hiring managers to attract top talent, streamline onboarding procedures, and ensure a positive candidate experience. If you are passionate about HR and eager to make a difference, we want to hear from you!What You Will Do:
  • Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various platforms and tools to identify and engage potential candidates. Assist in posting job openings on multiple job boards and social media.
  • Talent Acquisition Support: Collaborate with the HR team to coordinate the recruitment process, including resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial phone screenings.
  • Offer Letter Preparation: Draft and send offer letters to selected candidates, ensuring all necessary details are accurately communicated and aligned with company policies.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Assist in the development and implementation of onboarding programs. Ensure all new hires have a smooth transition into the company, including preparation of onboarding materials and facilitating orientation sessions.
  • Background Checks: Coordinate and manage background checks for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Candidate Communication: Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of candidate applications and onboarding documents in our HRIS. Prepare reports as needed to track recruitment metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
