  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (630a -6p approximately twice every three weeks). Mandatory Overtime: Must be willing to work mandatory overtime during peak periods or as required to meet operational deadlines.
  • Now through the end of May (maternity leave coverage)

If you're ready for an exciting and fulfilling career, explore our available job opportunities today.The Role: Temporary HR Receptionist (Bilingual Preferred)We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and highly adaptable Temporary HR Welcome Specialist to support our Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams during a maternity leave coverage period. In this essential role, you'll be the first point of contact and the face of POLYWOOD®, playing a major role in shaping the first impression that applicants, new hires, and visitors will have of our company. You'll ensure every individual feels welcomed, supported, and valued while managing front desk operations, assisting with HR administrative tasks, and facilitating onboarding processes with a positive and professional approach. This position is ideal for someone with exceptional people skills, a strong drive to help others, and the ability to remain a positive force in a fast-paced environment. We expect this individual to create memorable, welcoming experiences while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and precision in all tasks.What you'll be doing:
  • Be the First Point of Contact - Greet employees, candidates, and visitors with a warm, welcoming attitude. Answer incoming phone calls, direct inquiries, and maintain an organized front desk area.
  • Support HR Administration - Manage and organize employee files while maintaining strict confidentiality. Assist with scanning, filing, and archiving records in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with Recruiting & Onboarding - Launch onboarding tasks for new hires, including preparing materials and organizing onboarding sessions. Check in candidates as they arrive for interviews and ensure a positive experience.
  • Foster Communication Across Teams - Act as a liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth processes and positive interactions.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Strongly Preferred - Ability to assist a diverse team and communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Exceptional People Skills & Positive Energy - A professional, welcoming presence that creates a positive and lasting impression.
  • A Strong Drive to Help People - A genuine passion for supporting others and making every interaction count.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability - Must be available for an extremely flexible schedule, including working as early as 6:30 AM or staying as late as 7:00 PM when needed (approximately twice every three weeks).
  • Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented - Comfortable using standard office tools like email, Word, Excel, and HR systems. Experience with Paylocity a plus.
  • Multitasking & Organization Skills - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
