Job DetailsJob Location Las Vegas - LAS VEGAS, NV Position Type Full Time Description Konami Gaming is looking for a Temporary Material Handler II to join our team! This position is responsible for unloading, and moves materials within or near plant, parking lot, warehouse, or work site under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.This position also requires the flexibility to act autonomously at all times while adhering to overall department and company polices and procedures. What you'll be doing:
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Opens, crushes, or disposes of containers. Facilitates movement of materials or products.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Conveys materials or trash from storage or work sites to designated area.
- Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
- Stacks, organizes, or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together. Assembles crates to contain products such as machines or vehicles.
- Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to laboratory for analysis.
- Lifts heavy objects by hand, with power hoist, or forklift and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist operators.
- Makes simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or replacing rollers.
- Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Reports any discrepancies, changes or recommendations, and/or problems for resolution to senior management.
- Accountable to the requirement of Warehouse and Manufacturing.
- Complies with the company's regulatory guidelines and corporate policies at all times.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding the company, products and employee information.
- Must be able to obtain and retain gaming licensure.

QualificationsWhat we'll want you to have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of related experience and/or training.
- Forklift certification and clean driving record required. Knowledge of arithmetic. Understands the process of material movement between departments. Knowledge on material handling operation. Knowledge on order pulling. Understand the basic functions of PRONTO movements interpretation. Familiar with production parts. Some knowledge of the product. Knowledge in computer, Microsoft excel and word.
Work Environment:
- Full time / 40 + Hours per week. Must be flexible for overtime, including evenings, weekends and Holidays as required.
- Position shall work primarily in a Warehouse environment.
- Must be comfortable working on a concrete floor and warehouse environment. Must have the ability to move fast and function quickly on a daily basis. Position can be high stress and extremely fast paced. Ability to handle directive, assess situations, enter into dialogue and complete tasks. Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and stack. Must be able to listen and respond to verbal and written directions in English. May be required to move machines weighing up to 300 pounds with hand truck assistance. May be required to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to communicate verbally and write in English.
