POSITION SUMMARY:To make a positive contribution as a member of a reset team responsible for completing multiple grocery store section resets. This is a temporary position created to support special, non-reoccurring projects. Your team will be supporting the division's merchandising efforts in a manner consistent with Kroger's “Customer 1st” Strategy and P.L. Marketing.VIDEO JOB DESCRIPTION:REQUIRED AVAILABILITY AND WORK HOURS:Must be able to report to work at 9PM each workdayWorkdays will last approximately 10 hours, concluding around 7:30AMWorkweek will be Sunday through WednesdayorMonday through ThursdayWorksites will vary within a designated geographic areaYou will need reliable personal transportation (public transit not always available)ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Ensure you maintain a safe working environment at all times that is clean and organizedBreak down designated grocery store sections in an orderly mannerKeep track of merchandise as it is removed from grocery store shelvesClean and re-position shelves as needed to accurate measurementsReturn merchandise according to an updated schematic diagram of the sectionTake proper care of merchandise to prevent damage and maximize efficienciesMaintain an environment that allows customers to shop with minimal disruptionDemonstrate a high level of teamwork at all timesFollow direction and provide updates to your team's supervisors and store managementComply with the guidelines established for the reset team, especially those regarding timeliness, productivity, teamwork, communication and clocking in/out guidelinesMust remain qualified as an insurable driverDuring periods of reduced regular scheduled hours due to circumstances including but not limited to holidays or unforeseen urgent customer support needs, employees may be responsible for additional store support outside of their normal essential job functionsMust be able to perform essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationsMINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED equivalentBe 18 years of age or olderCommunicate (read, write and speak) fluent EnglishLearn to read, understand and implement plan-o-gramsCapability to collaborate with others and contribute effectively to a teamHighly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervisionQualify as an insurable driver with excellent driving recordA smartphone with internet/data access is required. This position may require installation and utilization of an app on your smartphone to complete the requirements of the position.
