Posting Details Position Information Job Title Temporary Patient Care Specialist Department Office of Practice Pay Grade Job Category Temporary Job Summary This position is located at the Hancock County Community Health Center. This is a temporary position. Work performed involves knowledge of the basic principles and practices of nursing, and a variety of tasks in an ambulatory health care setting including:
- Assisting professional nurses in all aspects of clinical care
- Administering injections
- Performing EKG's
- Gathering specimens
- Assisting with special procedures and general workups
- Performing other related non-professional nursing and clerical duties as required.

Stress levels may be high due to frequently dealing with numerous students, patients, family members, and other healthcare providers. This position demands concentration and the ability to work in emotionally charged situations. Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate.
- RMA , CMA ( AAMA certification), or LPN .
- Current CPR card.
