Job Information

Job Summary:

The Temporary Program Assistant provides administrative and programmatic support to the Academic Director and to the Executive Director of Harris Policy Labs, the Harris School's experiential learning program.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with program application intake, review, and tracking, and assist with student communication related to same.

* Create and update program databases, program files, and program materials.

* Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as needed.

Additional Requirements

Education, Experience or Certifications:

Education:

* Bachelor's degree required.

Experience:

* 1-2 years professional experience in project management and/or program support required.

* Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

* Strong writing skills required.

* Basic data analysis skills required.

* Experience working independently as well as collaboratively required.

* Experience with Box.com and/or Qualtrics preferred.

* Experience in higher education, including with systems and systems support, and with graduate student and faculty interaction preferred.

* Familiarity with University of Chicago(preferred.

Working Conditions:

* In-office with occasional option for remote.
