What does a Rouse RN Supervisor do?
- Direct, evaluate and supervise the nursing services on assigned unit in order to provide continuity of the highest quality of care.
- Assess nursing needs of residents, develop and manage care plans.
- Oversees and delegates nursing staff, assisting in their growth and development.
- Provides effective distribution and utilization of staff on shift.
- Assumes full charge of nursing units as necessary and in emergency situations.
- Ensure that the dignity of all residents is preserved.
- Supports and follows through with team goals.
- Enhances nursing department by working together as a team to accept ownership for tasks while exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
What are the requirements to be an RN Supervisor at the Rouse?
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Must possess a license as a registered nurse issued by the PA State Board of Nursing Education & Licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in long term care or gerontological nursing with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Must possess effective leadership and communication skills.
