We are currently seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Temporary Technical Support Technician in our Bethlehem, PA office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a part of our Technical Support Team, the Temporary Technical Support Technician will primarily focus on upgrading all of our computers/desktops to the Windows 11 platform, update inventory using our TrackIt system and handling any HelpDesk tickets associated with the Windows 11 update.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st level support on help desk calls related to hardware and software issues.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of personal computer hardware and software.
  • Possess knowledge of local and wide area network systems.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot peripheral hardware including printers, scanners, and media drives.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, OS and software applications on desktops and network devices.
  • Perform a full range of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of computer equipment.
  • Possess the ability to identify, diagnose and find effective solutions to problems related to computer hardware and software.

Assignment Details

  • On-site in our Bethlehem, PA office!
  • Temporary long-term assignment - up to 18 months
  • Payrate: $19.50-$21.00/hour based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
  • No weekends!

Requirements

  • Associates (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
  • Minimum 6 months - 1-year related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of server-based applications and support.
  • Knowledge of Windows based and non-Windows based business applications.
  • Application support (such as MS Office, MS Windows, Citrix, anti-virus software, internet browsers, email, VPN administration).
  • Strong understanding and experience with hands-on servicing of PCs and peripherals in networked environment.
  • A+ Certification preferred.

Compensation details: 19.5-21 Hourly Wage
