Salary: $16.28 - $20.54 Hourly Location : Wenatchee, WA Job Type: Temporary Full-Time Job Number: 202200076 Department: Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Division: Park Maintenance Opening Date: 07/10/2024 Closing Date: Continuous PurposeFor 2024 Season: The City of Wenatchee operates and maintains over 1,000 acres of parks, trailheads, facilities and landscaped areas around the community. Temporary park maintenance staff are hired at various peak workload times throughout the year to assist with these efforts. Applicants must have a valid Washington State Driver License. Grounds keeping experience is preferred. The City of Wenatchee has adopted a policy that measures the 'full-time' status of temporary employees over 12-months for purposes of benefit eligibility. Therefore, seasonal employees with temporary assignments of less than 6-months are not eligible for any benefits with the exception of participation in the Washington State Department of Retirement System (DRS). There will be no retroactivity applied to benefits or any other employment terms and conditions should regular employment be offered at a future date.
