Job Description:

A family-owned full-service development real estate is growing and looking to add on a professional to the property management team! The management company is focused on commercial space in NYC, Westchester, Long Island, and Fairfield County, CT.

You will be exposed to all operational real estate facets of the business and perform the administrative functions for their largest portfolio. You will assist the property manager with daily functions not limited to: organizing and maintaining the daily operational tasks for the real estate company by performing administrative work, work closely with PMs, tenants, and others to oversee all aspects of the buildings maintenance and occupancy. This role requires AMPs to communicate regularly with tenants to ensure on-time payment rent and proper adherence to lease agreements.

Title: Tenant Services Coordinator

Location: Bronx, NY

Salary: $55,000-$65,000

Responsibilities:

  • Answers phone calls and Building Engines requests from tenants. Coordinates with Property Manager issues, performance of work and dispatch of vendors.
  • Monitors the billable tracking for maintenance requests and ensures signed forms are received and billed back accordingly. Uses Building Engines to advise tenants about upcoming events such as building improvements.
  • Monitors renewal dates for service contracts; assists the Property Manager in the preparation of service contracts and verifies insurance is in place.
  • For repair and maintenance work over $5,000 (fluid amount), prepares contract/Purchase Order and follows up to be sure it is signed by both the vendor and company.
  • Monthly - identifies all past due tenants from Yardi, contacts and documents the results for the Property Managers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business is Preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role commercial/residential real estate
  • Experience with Yardi and Payscan/building engine
  • Experience with coding invoices/tenant payables
