THIS IS A PART-TIME GRANT FUNDED POSITION AND WILL END BY JUNE 30TH, 2025.
The TYEP Program Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Tennessee Youth Employment Program (TYEP) along with the Deputy County Mayor of Education and Workforce Development, and Deputy Director of Administration in Economic & Community Development. This includes coordinating with local organizations and businesses to identify job opportunities, screening and matching students with appropriate job placements, providing job training and support to students throughout their employment term, and tracking program outcomes.

Bachelor's Degree in Education Administration, Public Administration, or in a related field. Must possess a valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work requires a minimum of physical effort with intermittent typing, sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and driving.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Average hours will be less than 30 hours per week. Hours may fluctuate during peak business times.
