The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or related field with a strong statistical background, a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education, and experience in teaching at the undergraduate level for both mathematics majors and general liberal arts students. The cluster is designed to support the University's goals with respect to diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and the Mathematics Department encourages candidates from underrepresented groups in higher education to apply.
