The School of Business and Professional Studies invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Exercise Science to start August 2025.
Responsibilities:
The person in this position will cover classroom and laboratory instruction in undergraduate human cadaver anatomy as well as additional courses in the Exercise Science Department to be determined based on need and qualifications. This individual will also fulfill academic duties including oversight of the human cadaver laboratory, research appropriate to the teacher-scholar model, academic advising, mentoring of student-led research, and provide service to the University and community.

Required Qualifications
* Earned doctoral degree in exercise science or related area (exercise physiology, sport psychology, motor behavior, and related degrees). ABD candidates will be considered, but doctorate must be completed before the second year of appointment
* Evidence of teaching effectiveness or the potential to be an effective teacher in human cadaver anatomy and other exercise science classes
* Evidence of scholarly productivity or the potential to be a productive scholar
* Evidence of commitment to liberal arts and sciences education
* Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in dissection and/or prosection of human cadavers
* Previous successful college/university experience teaching human cadaver anatomy lecture and laboratory courses
* Evidence or demonstrated potential for mentoring student-led research
* Evidence or demonstrated potential for developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students
* Evidence or demonstrated potential for scholarly activity beyond the thesis or dissertation
