Job Description:

The Department of Communication at Bradley University seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Public Relations to begin August 2025.

The successful candidate should have demonstrated expertise with public relations and the ability to teach introductory and advanced courses in public relations writing, cases, and campaigns, along with a willingness to engage in on-line instruction. Preference will be given to applicants who study, or who have worked with, public relations and health issues/contexts.

Preference will be given to candidates with an appropriate terminal degree, college-level teaching experience, relevant professional experience, and a record of successful scholarship (research and/or creative production). Salary is competitive with experience and qualifications. ABDs with a clear timetable for degree completion prior to the start of employment will be considered but are only eligible for tenure-track and assistant professor status upon completion of the terminal degree.
