The Department of Theater at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers UniversityNew Brunswick, invites applications for tenure-track faculty Assistant or Associate Professor of Theater History and Dramaturgy and Head of BA Theater, with an anticipated start of September 1, 2025. Leveraging its geographic placement between New York City and Philadelphia, the Theater Department at Mason Gross has an established history as a premiere school for theater artists. We are looking for a dynamic theater scholar and administrator to teach undergraduate theater history and dramaturgy and to head the BA in Theater. We are interested in developing our curricular offerings by adding new courses in dramatic studies and welcome a diversity of approaches and expertise.
