Responsibilities begin August 2024 and will include teaching a wide variety of courses in Accounting.Job Status: Full timeJob Description:Accounting faculty must have knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques appropriate to effective undergraduate and graduate teaching. They are also expected to have knowledge of ways to instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students and do the following:
- Provide instruction in the area of undergraduate and graduate accounting in online and face-to-face modalities.
- Successful candidate will work strategically with diverse colleagues, students, parents, and community members.
- Engage in personal scholarship and scholarship with students (where possible).
- Advise students academically, spiritually, and socially.
- Participate in departmental activities and governance.
- Serve on university faculty committees/working groups and perform other normal faculty duties.
- Contribute to preparing students for their post-graduate career and finding who they are called to be.Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree with intent to pursue a Ph.D. or DBA.
- Commitment to teaching excellence.
- Commitment to ongoing professional activity and scholarship.
