ROLE:
As the Terminal manager you will be leading a team that drives real impact—shaping the future of our fast-growing Multi- Market Louisville Operation while contributing to the growth of our Overall nationwide Company success. This role is not just about managing Operations; it is about helping grow our world-class business in the largest Intermodal markets in the country.

Our Louisville operation service 4 Major rail markets. Louisville, Cincinnati, Memphis and Kansas City. You will oversee our entire operation, building and scaling a team that delivers actual results. This is not a churn-and-burn environment—we are about creating lasting success. You will design processes and systems to support our explosive growth, and ensure we maintain a world-class service culture built on recognition and development, not pressure and punishment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and motivate the team towards the larger vision, updating on important projects, and training on the operations process while demonstrating excellence.
- Own the overall service levels and sales performance of the terminal.
- Assist in Creating a game plan to motivate and improve individual performance for the team through candor and competitive greatness.
- Oversee the day-to-day efforts of your operations team, taking full ownership.
- Collaborate across departments and with our sales and other Terminal teams to build out innovative systems to help in achieving our overall company goals.
- Own implementation of the systems with the sales team to create an excellent experience for our internal team & customers.
- Explore and provide solutions to any inefficiencies in the Operations process to enhance the team's performance driving revenue growth. EVERYONES opinions and ideas are heard.
- Work directly with VP of Terminal Development identifying and executing on growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with our recruiting team to bring in top Owner Operator talent and help scale our quickly growing organization while holding our world-class service.
- Assist with ongoing creation and development of SOPs.
RESULTS:
- Onboarding Owner Operators quickly ramp up sales to KPI.
- Cost of Service Goals of 70% or 30% Gross margin
- Monthly gross profit goals are met and exceeded.
- Bi-monthly Calls to discuss wins, losses, needs and wants following the EOS system.
- Monthly reviews of P&L results with open discussion on how to improve operational efficiency
- All projects are addressed/managed in a timely manner with clear expectations and due dates.
- A culture of excellence and competitive greatness is maintained.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ year's experience managing an Intermodal Trucking operations.
- Experience in transactional sales “From the seat” looking for loads when there are lulls in freight.
- Experience with OWNER OPERATORS
- History of growing an operation.
- Assist in building out operations team.
- Exceptional coaching skills with the ability to influence behavior change.
- Able and/or comfortable adapting quickly to changes quickly.
- Excellent collaborator and communicator, both written and verbal.
- Excellent Leadership Skills.
- Able to understand and analyze metrics.
- Self-Directed.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Able to work in our Louisville Metro office (Monday-Friday, available for when we have weekend needs.)
LOCATION:
SALARY:
- $90,000 - $110,000 Base
- Bonus structure based on truck count, gross profit (Uncapped)
