Termite Inspector Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Responding to customer inquiries and scheduling inspections for termite-related issues.
- Inspections: Visiting residential and commercial properties to inspect for termite activity, damage, and potential risks. This involves examining foundations, crawl spaces, attics, and other areas where termites are likely to be found.
- Assessments and Reports: Conducting thorough assessments of the property to identify signs of termite infestation and documenting findings. Writing detailed inspection reports that highlight areas of concern.
- Proposal Preparation: Preparing treatment proposals for customers, including cost estimates and explaining recommended services and treatments.
- Sales and Follow-Up: Presenting treatment solutions and service plans to customers in an effort to secure sales. This often includes explaining the benefits, pricing, and timeline of treatments. Following up with customers to ensure questions are answered and closing sales.
- Customer Service: Maintaining a positive relationship with customers, addressing concerns, and providing education about termite prevention and treatment.
- Collaboration with Technicians: Working with pest control technicians to communicate findings and ensure effective treatment once a service plan is accepted by the customer.
- Administrative Tasks: Completing paperwork, updating records in an internal system, and ensuring compliance with state and company regulations.
- Travel: Traveling to customer locations, often within a designated area or territory, using a company-provided or personal vehicle.
- Training and Continuing Education: Staying informed about the latest pest control techniques, chemicals, and safety protocols through ongoing training and education.
