Role Summary The Terrain creative team is looking to hire a highly motivated Designer with strong graphic and production skills. The candidate must demonstrate excellent design ability, thrive under challenging deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude. Must possess willingness to jump from project to project while maintaining consistent, accurate work. Fluency in industry standard software is a must, as is proven aptitude in print design, packaging, brand application, and sourcing. Candidate must be capable of working as part of an interdisciplinary team but willing to show initiative and take ownership of the role. Role Responsibilities
- Facilitate creation, printing and mailing customer facing store collateral including weekly sale and promotional signs.
- Facilitate ordering, re-ordering and delivery of branded printed materials for brand, store, and buying teams
- Print, coordinate, and ship sign mailpacks
- Initiate, establish and maintain communication with vendors from specs, quotes, tech packs, fulfillment, and delivery of final assets.
- Detailed file preparation, mock-up creation, and release of flawless production files, all while working within time sensitive deadlines.
- Support team in maintaining and upkeeping server and digital files as well as tactile print supplies, samples, and storage areas.
- Trend Awareness: Driven by passion for emerging trends in art, design, and fashion.
- Typography: Adept in type usage, masterfully blending understanding of type dynamics with playful, trend-forward designs.
- Color Expertise: Exceptional at using seasonal palettes to develop fresh, innovative designs.
Role Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 3+ years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac/PC platform
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
- Experience with, or openness to designing with AI programs.
- Understanding of composition, color, and design theory
- Knowledge of traditional and digital printing processes, color separations and vendor ready art and die-line files.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: Must be able to communicate the business needs and objectives effectively via email and in meetings.

- Creative thinker with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a positive response to feedback
